How to create a MySQL/MariaDB database

PHP applications such as WordPress, Laravel, and other CMS platforms may require a database.

NexPK hosting uses the database services provided through HestiaCP.

Steps

1. Log in to HestiaCP.
2. Open DB.
3. Click Add Database.
4. Enter your database name.
5. Create a database user.
6. Set a strong database password.
7. Save the database.
8. Use the displayed database credentials in your application.

Keep your database username and password private.

Important

Do not publish database credentials in your website's publicly accessible files, Git repositories, screenshots, or support requests.
